Laboratory of Genetic Engineering
(former Laboratory of Animal Models)
The Genetic Engineering Core Facility has been developed thanks to the funding of the Foundation for Polish Science - Team Tech Core Facility Plus project. The facility provides services in the transgenic field, offering the generation, genotyping and cryopreservation of genetically modified animals, as well as viral vectors production (LV and AAV). Additionally, we perform the restoration of animal SPF status by embryo transfer, rederivation from cryopreserved stocks, and IVF procedures. Behavioral analysis of generated transgenic lines is available in the Laboratory of Behavioral Methods at the Nencki Institute.
Our service is dedicated to scientific and R&D institutions.
